Transcon refuse to run my ad, yet before they slaughtered it by misspelling the website name in the ad I paid for..read on.. . . Battles on the web continue: . Transcontinental Media & their Truro Daily News (2009 June) over misplacing my ads in the wrong sections,
they did so many times (I had a website in the ad that tied to this, ClassifiedAdsForFree.net..I guess they didn't like it
much and fought 'DIRTY'), & over their high costs of advertising FOR LANDLORDS... moved to Transcon's Good Times mag next. . . . Oh no, not again! . . .
Yet another error, for my/our ads, on the part of the Truro
Daily News? (Which follows my call to the Mayor for an app't (placed last Friday^), an ad I renewed/placed,
last Friday^, in the Truro Daily News, for 1 week, is not there, (discovered October 16, 2010 after not getting
calls for apts, having a look for an ad that should have ran Thurs to Wed (Oct. 20th, 2010), it was not in the
Sat. issue, per my review, so I'll have to call and ask why. I will post their reply. And hold my
attack, pending their reply, but, sadly, I do believe their actions have to do with my call to the Mayor's office, but in
all fairness, I'll reserve judgement..and it may again be place 2 or more pages away from the ads, like before, so to be con't . Mayor Bill Mills of Truro took my sign down, advertising this site, for youALL, called, ClassifiedAdsForFree.net
and he did have my hand painted & self designed, delivered & set up sign-- DISTROYED.
I have billed him & the Town of Truro $2500.00 for said sign. He did not reply to my fax/bill,
so now I have asked for an app't with him, and Julie did give me, Tues 2pm, 19th October, [or 2pm Wed. Oct. 20, 2010 as an
alternative date], and we are going to discuss a number of other issues, e.g. the Victoria Park Area, and how to improve it,
with his help. . .a couple of things happened to further establish,
to me anyway, that I get such special treatment. I have a website showing that after
I was advised by a member of Truro's Town Council, that my sign wasn't just laid down, or place at the back or to the side
of my property near Victoria Park (due to some distain over the only words, www.ClassifiedAdsForFree.net, on the sign...which is wierd, but I guess they were jus being helpful to eliminate Truro Daily New's competition of a free
ad(s) verses a paid ad to the only newspaper locally, (that's why they could up the price for classified ads...think'n we
didn't have much choice in the matter), I received further special treatment, and got ordered--I was the only
one ordered to get my lawns cut. Yeah! Can ya believe it? So, I took photos and proved my point
very well, that I was again singled out for special treatment. Photos of hayfields just down the road
from my property, may be viewed on EleanorBridges.Wordpress.com. . . Worst yet, and recently discovered in the other direction of my property, was a
getto looking Town of Truro yard, with 3 dust gathering, old clunkers, leaking oil & gas, spewing it over a local town
lot, and said cars covered with dead pine needles and dead leaves from over 2 years of dead, fallen stuff over said 3 old
clunkers..yet, the by-law enforcement officer, singled out my lawn to cut, as more important that to go after the owner of
the lot that looks like a getto style junk yard (sorry, but true, and is a great argument cause'n my lawn was more important
to them to get cut, than making Truro beautiful..at a time when, Truro needs to be cleaning up its image ..I need say no more,
youALL know to what I am a referr'n to...  ) . . Battle:
Transcontential Media and Good Times Mag. (for old persons, seniors, jus like me), and that they, Transcon, did act in bad
faith, via Dwight Richardson, and they did refuse my ad..because it's me--a political activist, a person that stands
up for what's right, and they want to hurt the little guy financially, e.g. as in not running my ad, and when they did run
my ad, they slaughtered the name of the website, (hey, That's right, another mistake, like placing my house for
rent in the 'Trucks&Cars For Sale section IN their Truro Daily News Newspaper 2 full pages away from the
rest of the For Rent .. now, wouldn't that make ya angry?? Yep! It pissed me off..that's fer sure!!! (after all my complaints,
the Truro Daily News has impoved their classified sections, and is keeping the For Rents, including mine, in the same section
and in the same area of their very small, thin newspaper ...but I had to complain a lot to Montreal, to get it done--and never
even got any thanks fer it! Didn't get no money back either...another small claims court case to get my money back..as
they would not issue a credit to me either... (I'm gonna start another website about a going to court--small claims court
that is..ta help youALL out, so ya can sue the bigol' corportations that wanna rip off the little guy--or push us around--like
they did me, and are a doing it again, via the Good Times Magazine (see below for the second saga of this battle with Transcon),
cause I lost anyway, right? I mean: I paid for my ads, yet they were not found cause'n they were not in the For
Rent section--AND FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE RENTALs...so, I missed out in a lot of potential tenants! It took longer
ta rent--I'm sure that made them happy. . So,
can ya fight the only newspaper in town--that has a monopoly on the prices? Yep! Like a lot of the landlords now:
we place signs in our windows/on our property, ( so that's $0 for Truro Daily News Classifieds), we use Kijiji fer FREE..WE
GOTS A TRURO SECTION NOW, a Halifax, a New Glasgow section (that's $0 for Truro Daily News Classifieds), WE USE OTHER free
classified WEBSITES, LIKE ON THIS HERE SITE FER YOU GUYS... (I also own, ClassifiedAdsForFree.org so if I can take the
time from a feuding with the Transcons, then I'll post a list of them..oh, there is CanadaRentals.? I believe, with cheap
prices and places for photos...) . I was a hippy once a upon a time, . and way
back then, we hippies, fought corportations, had sit ins, demonstrated, etc... It made us feel real good, and, I believed
it helped! . Peace man! . .UpDate: Battle with Transcontinental Media, continues..Oct.
15, 2010, GoodTimes (I'm old a) Dwight Richardson just refused to publish my cVacationProperties.com ad in the Good Times
Magazine, citing 2 crazy reasons, to me jus now, per our telephone conversation: 1.
The type is too small (heh, I can change that! Nope, he doesn't care! He doesn't want my business..5th Estate, here I come
again!) 2. Too few properties listed (heh, he misspelled my website name--now
I believe it was on purpose due to this web site, so business was nill, meaning no listings, and and and, he was suppose
to run it for 3 months, then another 3 months, then another 3 month, but violated our contract then too. Tisk Tisk
Tisk..I guess they don't like a little competition!) So, what to do? Contact Better
Business Bureau about Transcontinental Media and their ethics, contact the Editor, Murray Lewis in Mtrl (did that jus now),
contact the 5th Estate re: is the media trying to run a monopoly and hurt small business, and keep the little guy little??
(more later..after all I just faxed Murray Lewis and did leave him a message too... keep posted, . .What can you do ta voice your disapproval
for such shamless treatmeat by one of Canada's mongol money grabbing grubbing newspaper corporations that did this without
any regard to ethics--you see, they think they can screw the average citizen because they are powerless to do anything--but,
with the power of the web, they are very, very wrong. . .
 Phone up your Good Times mag, and cancel your subscriptions, and cancel any other subscriptions you may have belonging
to TransCon. I'll research what they own, and if time allows, I'll set up a website of what they own..cause'n they are
big, and own lots...that's why they think they can get away with such shoddy treatment, in total disregard..cause'n they don't
give a good darn, about anything but their greedy selves! .. . now for the battle with
the Truro Daily News, update: A thank you, and a lesson well learned. The Truro Daily News is now
running a special for landlords at $29.00 per week for their ads, so it does pay to fight the larger corporations after all,
but then again, in light of this recent slap in the face, (refusing to take my money for my ad..citing crazy reasons above
instead of just say, we hate you, and we ain't gonna run your darn old ad! So there!) But, they didn't have the guts to say that to me. Nope, just give'n the dumb reasons above! Oh, did I tell ya they put my ad for a house to rent in the car/trucks for
sale place! More later.... old

per week, 6 issues, 25 words..I believe..and we are truly grateful to them, but it took force, and ingenuity
to get it done, but, still, we thank you..our ads moved to my sites, kijiji-Truro, and other free Truro websites..thank you
one and all, but I was the first to begin local free websites... Now, if Transcon's, Good Times mag

am now so very well known, over it EleanorBridges verse the Cons, that I have been asked for my autography many times over...and
all I wanted, once upon a time, was privacy and peace and quiet, but they jus wouldn't let me alone (e.g. even though there
is a Supreme Court order 10 years ago, a con using her powerful position, has still refused to pay her overdue rent!
Now, we got the NDP in, that story may change..time will tell, and my meeting with Mayor Mills will be to discuss same, as
